ABOUT ME

I am a multi-skilled professional, with more my 15-year career in large and complex organizations as Data Scientist, Business Intelligence, Business Analytics & Project Manager. I hold an Executive MBA (EMBA), two bachelor's degrees in Management and Accounting (CPA, CMA), a Data Science specialization at Johns Hopkins University, a Certificate in Corporate finance, and a Management Development Certificate (Certificat de perfectionnement en gestion) at École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQÀM), and a Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, among others.

Throughout my career, I have shown expertise as Data Scientist in the Business Intelligence domain in Implementation and reporting. I am highly skilled in Data Modeling (Python and R), Microsoft Azure BI and have knowledge in Data Warehousing (DW), Data Visualization (Tableau / Power BI), Statistical Inference (using a wide variety of statistical methods including cluster, regression models, decision tree, random forest, time series, and others), Practical Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Artificial Intelligence (AI), among others.

I possess a special ability to monitor and evaluate program performance (budget, costs, schedule, content, quality, and risks). Experience in environments operating with methodologies (Waterfall, Hybrid, Agile). I managed the continuous improvement of PMO services, processes, tools, techniques, templates, and operating model methodology. Including different fields: Aerospace Manufacturing, Airlines, Aeronautical maintenance-Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), Aircraft On Ground facilities - AOG, Finances, Fuel & Lubricant, Operations, Procurement, and Logistic.

I have excellent communications and interpersonal skills; strong leadership, with the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment. I am a very creative person, positive, curious, motivated, autonomous, fast learner, strong analytical skills, creativity in problem-solving, efficiency, and accuracy; also, I possess good planning abilities and organizational skills. As a Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, I implement Machine Learning and Deep Learning models to extract valuable insights from data. I am passionate about exploring new AI methods and technologies to solve real-world challenges and contribute to innovation in various fields.

As a Business Intelligence – BI (focuses on descriptive analytics), as a Bachelor in Accounting (CPA, CMA), Bachelor in Business Management, and finance specialist, I work transforming data into insights that drive business value. As BI, I improve and maintain operational efficiency and helps companies to increase organizational productivity; managers can generate intuitive, readable reports that contain relevant, actionable data. As BI analysts, I can identify trends that can help other departments, managers, and executives make business decisions to modernize and improve processes in the organization. As BI analysts, I can discover areas of revenue loss and identify where improvements can be made to save the company money or increase profits.

As a Business Analytics – BA (focuses on predictive analytics), as a Data Scientist specialist, I work using your company’s data to anticipate trends and outcomes. Typically includes Data Mining, Statistical and Quantitative analysis, Predictive Modeling, and Machine Learning (ML) to anticipate and determine the likelihood of future outcomes, that help make more informed decisions, and make the changes necessary to succeed. In effect, like business analytics, I prepare a predictive analysis to solve problems before they’ve occurred.

As a Project Manager – PMO, I led the whole program to build aircraft (A/C) at Bombardier in the Global 7500 Program (Downsview, Toronto), establishing project schedule and budget in order to monitor and control the performance; from receiving the empty structure just to obtaining the airworthiness certificate (ready to fly). I managed the continuous improvement of PMO services, processes, tools, techniques, and templates, and operating model methodology. I have professional training & certification at ÉNA (École Nationale d'Aérotechnique) as Quality Control Inspector (Test Credit 503 & 507.1 Pratt & Whitney Canada), Metrology Specialist (ISO 1101 & ASME Y14.5 Standards), CATIA V5 (Modeling, Design, and Assembly) and the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR).

As a Senior Management Consultant – I work on Strategic Planning Management, I design and develop KPI (Key Performance Indicators), I implement performance management frameworks (Balanced Scorecard-BSc, Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award USA - Management Excellence Model), and I implement lean six sigma to achieve inventory control in supply chain management.
